Got the call 6.10pm yesterday to come and speak to Terry Robinson.
As soon as he knew it was the Blades, there was no decision to make.
Left to make his way as a manager, experience the way others worked (rather than just Neil Warnock)... has come back knowing more/having useful experiences.
Not about contracts/money... about coming back to the blades and continuing where he left off.
His reputation as one of the best up and coming coaches came from the lane, stable club, fans are as passionate as you ever can be.
A lot of affinity here.
Should be geared for moving forward, he's gonna go in, chat with the players and get on with it. Wants to turn them round his way.
Had 2 hours with TR finishing last night about 11. Gotta come in and get some results with a set of players who are perfectly good enough.
Meeting today about injuries, loans etc etc.
NW rang and wished him all the best last night.
