Would be ideal for next season and add much needed pace and creativity but extremely unlikely given a. he's already played a full season in L1 and Palace will surely be looking for him to step up to the Champ next season and b. Utd apparently have a self-imposed ban on loan players

Is he out of contract at Palace? If he isn't the only way we'd be able to get him is on loan. Way too expensive and probably a lot of interest from championship clubs we wouldn't be able to compete with otherwise.
