"Carry On Up The Arse!" - one of the more recent, and best loved, of all the Carry On's, filmed on location in Sheffield, at Bramall Lane, on the 30th of December, 2006. Arsene "Arsey" Wenger is planning a new year party and intends to get in mood by having his champagne and caviar loving team, Arsenal, beat the working class, council house lads of Sheffield United. Blades gaffer Neil Warnock nearly has heart failure when wife (Hattie Jacques) phones to say that goalie, Paddy, has forgotten his shorts and can't play. It's a dilemma, but at the last minute, young tea boy, Jags Jagielka, realises he has his shorts in his school bag, so Gaffer Warnock has no choice but to play him in goal instead!
It's laugh's a plenty as local night club doorman, Christian Nade, ends up on the pitch, frightens the southern softies and somehow scores, now all that is left is for young Jags to keep that ball out of the net and ensure a happy new year for the whole of Sheffield! Can he do it?
Watch out for lots of double entendres, including the classic line, as Sid James says to Hattie Jacques, "I can't wait to get up the arse this weekend, mwah ha ha ha"
Starring Kenneth Williams as Arsene "Arsey" Wenger, Sid James as Gaffer Warnock, Jack Douglas as Rob Kozluk, Kenneth Connor as Alan Quinn, Jim Dale as Keeeeeeiiiiitttthhhh Gillespie, Patrick Kenny as Paddy, Philip Jagielka as Jags and Nick Montgomery in his BAFTA award winning role as midfield tackler, Nick "Monty" Montgomery,
