This has happened to me before but it was American last time. Randomly calling sheffielders and asking if you have SUFC shares.
Had a call from someone allegedly working for a Canadian stockbroker, stong Canadian accent. They want to know if I have shares in SUFC and have been authorised to offer 5 times the going rate. Didn't let them get that far this time but if it's same bunch they have a credible looking website mirroring a real Chicago stock brocking company. Last time I reported it to the real stock broker and police but nothing reported back. They have lots of forms to fill in and ask for you bank details to transfer your fund into (YEH).
I replied by saying " oh your the same criminals that contacted me before, what's it like to be a phone scam criminal? How do you sleep.at night? They hang up!
Not going to bother reporting it to club, police or the stockbroker again but Blades beware. Their number comes up as 007778891625
