I do not know the answer to that question, might have to take a look after this post actually. But I keep banging on about O'Grady being my preffered striker target for many reasons other than how many goals he'll get. Although I would happily be willing to wager that in a full 46 game season for us he'd get 10-15 goals (assuming he'd play the majority).

Having seen him play a fair few times now what I like most about him is his exceptional work rate and willingness to never give the defenders a moments rest bite similar to Done in some ways, Imagine those two upfront? The opposition defenders would be sh*tting themselves at the thought of the constant pressure they'd be under for the 90 mins. As well as that he's shown himself to be very capable of leading the line as a loneman as he's done recently at Brighton or playing as the linkman for a more predatory striker slightly further ahead with a forward like McNulty maybe. Infact I'm sure Clough had mentioned earlier in the season when we had O'Grady, that from the brief glimpses we saw they had begun to show signs of striking up a decent partnership for the level we're at.

Part of Clough's remit is player development I think.

Anyone looking for a Darwinian purge leaving a lean and hungry and ruthless death squad might be disappointed.

As O'Grady now seems settled at Brighton what makes us think that he would want to drop a division and come back here. ?.Much as I would like to see him return, there must be other names out there worth a look at.
 
I wonder if COG is on the radar again, hence Steve Davies going back.
I wouldn't be surprised.
 
Why did people think we'd release Kieran Wallace? We bought him as a development player, he was never meant to go straight into the first team. Give him a chance.
McEverley is solid enough backup for left back and centre back at a push, so no problem there for me.

Exactly! Now through no fault of his own Wallace was thrusted into the first team picture for a brief period whilst clearly not at a stage in his development of being anywhere near ready for League One football and from his albeit dissapointing performances (as you'd expect really) he's instantly been wrote off and labelled a rubbish signing my many. He needs time to develop who knows how good he can become in the future.
 
Good news, I am also on the retained list. Quite a surprise really, only got to 10 games and haven't been Cloughies biggest fan this season. Admittedly been played out of position at the back of the Kop; see myself as more centre/ mid-Kop. But then I will be injury free for the 45th season in a row.

Why not just bring in another good CB as back-up, or let's just make do with McEverley.

If fit and lean ( big if ) , i think he may be the surprise package next season. Lets hope he surprises us all . I would also like us to do a deal with S6 for Stevie May , although not hit it off in the championship , i think he would suit us in league 1.

We already offered him a new contract a couple of months ago. Maybe the club has reason to believe he'll accept this time. I can't see it happening myself though.

NN says the priority is CH and CF, meaning next season's team is basically going to be Howard, Freeman, Harris, Murphy, Coutts, Basham, Scougall, Flynn with 2 new centre halfs or even one and McEverley with a new none goal scoring shitbag lump up front on his own.

I can't wait to lose at home to Burton.
 
S Davies would score more if he got the kind of service he got on Monday night. If we play the same isolated 1 up top next season and this and don't support them we will not score anyone goals than this season.
I prefer Davies to COG as he is a lefty and can score goals from distance as well as headers.

McEveley retained?
