Yesterday I received an email from the club informing me 'it's time to open a Sheffield United Account'. Seems a little odd as I have loads of loyalty points and must have an account. Contacted the club yesterday to check if the email is legitimate - no response so far - anyone else had anything similar? It looked genuine but I smell a rat.

I checked all the links and they are genuine they all go to newsletter.sufc.co.uk/xxxxxx

The header shows it was passed by my spam filter.

Shows it was sent by the Marketing Team at SUFC. [email protected]

Even so I reset my account password.
