hello!

as i asked linz and he/she (?) didnt know i would kindly ask if anyone knows wheter the home or away kit will be changed at the end of the season?

i would like to buy some goods from the blades store soon and i would like to buy the kit as well, but i wont if it is due to be changed. well, how much is the usual redundant price for kits in store / online shopping, then?

furthermore i would like to know if somebody ever paid without credit card? i dont owe a card and i would prefer to pay via bank transfer, but i dunno if this is possible, because im not from the UK.

thank you.

Easy answer is to ring the shop and get all the answers from them.

At least you'd know the information would be correct.

0870 442 8704 is the number for Jackie Clarebrough, the lady in charge of the club shops, she's the person to ask about the methods of payment you could use.

If there is going to be a new shirt, she might not know much about it (you're not likely to get a definite answer from anyone to do with the club this early on in the year).

It does state in the fans' charter that the club will change the home and away kit every season, but the club have chosen not to in the past. As I said in my PM to you, if we stay in the Premiership, I would guess that we will have a new kit to maximise the revenue from the fans.

If we go down however, I think they would think hard about keeping the same kit to keep the fans "on side".

I think the message you can take from that is, I don't think many people will really know :)

I really hate how kit changes have become a yearly thing. My Dad's birthday is in March and I always want to buy him a shirt but there's no point. :(

I understand it is likely that the home shirt will change at the end of the season. Though what are the usual discounts for shirts which last at the end of the season? Is it worth to wait or should i buy a shirt yet. I still like it. :)

They usually knock them down to £20 at first... then into the new season, they flog 'em for a tenner :)

I say, if you like the shirt, get it. I've still got United shirts from 10 years ago that I wear so when you think of it that way, full price isn't really that expensive :)

You still have clothes that fit from 10 years ago. SF will be so jealous ;)

Personally I gave all my 10 year old clothes away, far too big now :p
