The U23s have an away match at Barnsley on Tuesday 28 September at 1pm. The game is scheduled to be played at the Oakwell Training Complex. The best way I can describe that is "behind the away end".
Unfortunately, the Carrier Bag Firm will not be repping, as we'll be en route Middlesbrough away. Obvs, I can't guarantee anyone going will actually get in. But, I see no reason why not. It's a simple, one gate in arrangement. The Oakwell Training Complex is one of the better PDL Academy grounds for spectators - a stand, with seats, and a covered roof. Puts Shirecliffe to shame.
United are Third. Barnsley next bottom. But it's early days. In a mad twist, the U18s are due at the same gaff on Friday 1 Oct at 7pm.

This is both a shame and pointless. For those already down there for it, you can watch from the back fence furthest from the main stadium, but there's not too many vantage points so you may need to fight through the bushes if the open ones are already taken.
