I’m saying it makes absolutely no difference. I personally dislike X, I don’t have the app, don’t like what it is and who owns it. I wouldn’t click on a link on X. I also don’t use Facebook for similar reasons.

If I wanted to know a score I would find an alternative to either Facebook or X.

I also don’t check u21’s scores as I know I can come on here and see them if I want to.

I'm unfamiliar with sofascore. Does it cover Red Cards, serious injuries to players dropping down from the first team squad, debuts for future superstars, etc? Or is it just the scores?

I'll have a look at it during downtime.

None of those things. Sofascore will never be as good as the X service from SU Development…but not everyone uses X or Facebook…

I'm in the car on the way home now. In the backseat, one of the Carrier Bag Firm. He doesn't have the X/Twitter App. He doesn't have an X/Twitter account. The only thing he ever looks at (via his browser) is the afforementioned @ SUFCDevelopment feed. Because he "needs" all the Academy information. He doesn't view himself as a X/Twitter user.

I might be asking a very naive question. But, given a) people's objections to X/Twitter and the people who use it and b) people's obvious and genuine interest in Academy information - why don't they just do what he does?

Facetiously, he doesn't know X/Twitter is full of dickheads, because he only sees one thing, the @ SUFCdevelopment feed, through his window.

There's a third way: my work firewall blocks X/Facebook etc. Therefore the updates on here and the score websites are handy (cheers Greystones Blade )

Sofascore/Flashscores also don't rely on an X post to adjust the score. There's a betting market (I know) on the U21s so there's a freelancer there updating it.

Most people don’t just see it as just a website so assume you need the app to view it.

X also asks you ‘Open X’ via a link so many people don’t realise you can just click the ‘continue on web’ option and not have to login (see below).
