I'm intrigued by that comment. I can't see any way we will be a Cat 1 Academy any time soon. The process takes time even when you are planning for it, which we don't appear to be

(of course that would mean Sheffield Wednesday would be Cat 1 already, they have won the U23 Cat 2 Professional Development League title in recent years, something we have never done)

If that intrigues you good luck on here , I don’t mean we’ll be cat 1 next week I mean in the pipeline that’s got to be the ambition I think it’s common knowledge it’s a dragged out process that takes investment.

I never stated it was cheap and easy I was meaning that’s got to be the long term ambition although some on here think ambition is bringing back cash instead of card only

I think we are stuck as Shitecliffe isn’t big enough to have enough pitches and the locals objected to floodlights which you need aswell.
