1 goal in last 6.

Discuss ?

Completely missing the point, as it turns out, but seeing as YOU wish to turn this in to a purely goal scoring related debate, please offer your opinions as to why golden boy has 1 in 6.

I await your response with baited breath !

So he's not currently the leading goalscorer in the division, discuss that, discuss the fact that his goal at Derby got us a point

Exactly,he has been slaughtered on here for doing exactly that against Bristol

Totally. This x1000.

As poor (and he was truly awful) as Lundstram was from an attacking perspective last night, he was excellent defensively.

Tufty clearly didn't want to sacrifice that discipline and shape in a game where conceding a late goal could/would have totally derailed the rest of the season.

For me, it was totally the right call. Well done Tufty.

Lavery wasn’t even on the bench

I know he wasn't on the bench but I think he should have been on the bench instead of Wilson who hasn't kicked a ball in a year, he would have been a good choice I think as a back up if we need some speed

Wilder's biggest fuck up last night was the substitutes he named. Thomas should have been on the bench, instead of Lafferty. Not all 3 signings should have been. Specifically, Evans. I would've had Carruthers on there instead of him. We didn't have any spark on there apart from Wilson potentially, and it wasn't really his type of game.

Sharp should have been the striker to come on. It was more suited to him so it's a big blow for him that he didn't get on. Not a good decision in any way to throw Wilson on ahead of him.

Leonard could've been useful too and I'm surprised he didn't get on.

So Wilder limited his options but didn't best use the ones he had.

No doubt you told her that she should have done this, could have done that better, needs to improve on doing that, cannot blame her,it must be difficult for her to come up to the expectations of somebody so perfect
A more than interesting response.

My question remains. 1 in 6. 1 in 540 minutes of football.

Don’t answer if it doesn’t suit or support your point of view ;)

Good idea, drop the leading goalscorer in the division,I'm glad it's not you and the lad from Dronfield in our technical area making the decisions,

A pair of clowns

Why do you have to resort to childish name calling?

Why not just make your point and leave it at that?

Her mate Billie, was a better shag?

Because you are a pair of clowns for wanting Clarke to be dropped,do I have to make it any clearer than that Mr Sensitive?

At what point has anybody stated Clarke should be dropped ?

Questioned his current untouchable status ? Absofuckinglutely.

Knickers in a twist ???????

Shall we get Shearer to lace his boots up, based on that premise ??

No we shouldn’t.

If you feel my question is answered, let’s leave it at that.

Let's sell him and Billy whilst we are at it eh,that was your brilliant idea not long back wasn't it?,then you pretended it was a joke and a wind up,like I have said, one half of a crap clown act

Didn't some fans moan a few weeks ago that Wilder, made a sub in the last few minutes and we lost?. We are the only club with 30.000 trainers.

I don’t rate Clarke as highly as most others. I think that’s abundantly clear. It’s a fair cop guvner !

I don’t rate Sharp that much either when he is sat on his arris bench warming ;)

Make the connection.

Did I say he should be dropped now? No, I said if he should be dropped if his form doesn’t improve e.g. in 2 or 3 matches.

Clarke is nearly 33 so could benefit from a rest here and there.

It’s not being sensitive, I just don’t understand why you can’t debate with someone you don’t know on a message board without feeling the need to try and belittle them.

Usually the response of someone either as thick as Shyte or lacking basic communication skills.

Get used to it !

But that's the issue - you say "he's untouchable" because he's playing and you don't want him to be.
Managers have these problems with forwards all the time, do you drop every striker who doesn't score a goal every game?
How many games do you give them to score again?

Only a manager can make a player "untouchable" Adkins and Clough seemed to have a few like that - not sure CW ever has or would - but that's his call.

How long should you give it ?

How long will Wilder give it ?

You should go and give Wilder the benefit of your vast football knowledge, and tell him when he should be dropped,I suspect it would be Norwich away,am I wrong ?

But Wilder obviously had his reasons for the changes he did or didn’t make. Your argument is based completely on hindsight, which Wilder obviously didn’t have at the time
Don’t think it was hindsight, everyone around me were surprised ‘to say the least!’ United were lacklustre all night

I enjoyed the game but differ from many including perhaps Wilder in that l really would have liked him to throw the dice, play the subs and go all out for the win.

I realise that this could have meant we'd all be moping around today and for weeks after, or that the result might have been unchanged.

But I'm not really satisfied with a cautious approach. It's not what we're used to with Wilder and I hope he puts this aside and returns to form.

Perhaps the occasion got to him. Perhaps he was right in the sense that many seem to agree that it was ok to settle for a draw rather than risk a loss last night.

Billy should have played a part in that game even if it was to use his excellent crossing ability to feed the other strikers or as a rallying call to up the tempo.
