Strong XI = You want us to keep Berge and somehow try and find money from back of sofa to buy another 2 quality first teamers

Strong Squad = Sell Berge and sign 7~ decent players/players for the future

I think the biggest reason why we got relegated last time round was because we didn't have a strong squad at all. We even had Hackford and Jebbison playing some games... I for one would rather have a really good all round decent squad to rely on in case of injuries and to have plan A, B, C etc

We don't have either.

I think to be honest the stance is that the board don't want sander to go on a free so want to sell instead. Despite this not helping Hecky in any way.
How serious we have been in contract negotiations I do wonder.

El Accounto seemed to be of the opinion that Sander is "replaceable" so whilst the timing is bad the decision isn't.

Thing is we haven't got replacements in. And then there's the matter of squad morale and mentality. Losing Sharp, N'Diaye and Berge is bad for that side of things too.

Not to mention Berge and N'Diaye could be classed as part of the spine of a team...
