Whilst most of us realised we needed a striker, I cannot believe that we have not addressed that problem. Paynter yet to score, Porter, hardly prolific, Baxter hardly an out and out goalscorer, Miller nothing since his long awaited comeback. I know it can be difficult to find the right players, but Davies was surely one we could have brought in and yet ends up going to Preston. What worries me about Cloughie is his nonchalant" we are in no hurry to sign anyone" attitude whilst this current set of players continue to show that they do not have the capability to get us out of this relegation mess. I was criticised for suggesting that we will lose all our home games against the remaining top sides we have play but seriously can anyone see us even getting a point against any of them ?. Having seen Brayford, Scougall and Harris make their debuts I began to doubt what I said, after today I'm even more certain. Brayford and Harris are decent defenders, the former probably the best in this division, yet we still get thumped against fellow relegation strugglers, imagine when Donaldson, Pringle, Assombalonga come calling.
