There's also no evidence that they are effective strikers playing in our system or that they even give a toss about playing for us, in fact all the evidence suggests they are happy to pick up a massive wage and put fuck all effort in
We will see !

Why is Burke on this list? Despite what Wilder tried to sell him to us as, he isn’t, and never has been a striker.

For what it’s worth, I genuinely would keep Mousse and put a lot of effort into his fitness. We just need a manager in fucking sharpish who can get inside his head and get him working again. I still remember the Mousse that scored very good goals vs Wolves, Everton, Man U etc. that none of our other forwards would score; the Mousse who just shrugged Phil Jones off the ball and who had Man City shitting themselves at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Get Mousse fit and firing, which I accept is no mean feat, and we’ll have the best striker in the division next season.

I agree to an extent but I think it hinges on what contract he will be on.

Mousse needs serious investment of time, effort and patience to get him back to the November 2019 version of himself. If he's sitting on a contract anything upward of 15k a week while we take another punt on him, I'd say it's not worth it.

Alternatively, perhaps a loan to Chateroux or Beerschot might be beneficial?

Funny that Brewster is a case of ‘give him time’ yet Mousset is a lazy, fat waster. Annoys me that Brewster is cut some slack despite strolling around the pitch hiding behind defenders. It screams to me that he doesn’t want to be here. McBurnie and McGoldrick for me.

Says it all that the shoe ins are in their mid 30s.

Brewster and McBurnie have done it at this level and are still very young. Despite a lack of service they will still need to pull their socks up though (McB especially 😉)

Incredulous that the armchair experts have our two most expensive strikers, and thus far abject failures, as our 2 best options on some fanciful premise that their consistently dreadful individual performance levels are wholly down to poor service !!!!!

There are gonna be some seriously disappointed folks around Xmas time when this cloud cuckoo land perspective is shat on from a great height 😉.

Mcgoldrick and Sharp have scored 13 times the number of goals brewster and McBurnie have scored this season in less games, not the sharpest tool in the box are you pal

still think billy will have a big part to play next season albeit probably from the bench and it will be his last season as a player for us although if mcburnie and brewster dont do the business he could well be back in the starting eleven
