Apparently we have offers on the table for:

Henderson (as posted)
Webber (Watford, Palace and Bristol City)
Sharp (Forest and Reading!!)

I can see the Webber bids as possabilities, and the sharp to Forest, But Reading? Why would Reading want to sign a misfiring striker when they already have (possibly) the best forward line in the league

Perhaps because a half decent manager thinks he has potential?

The Reading style of play would suit Sharp. Having said that I can't see him getting many games there, unless Coppell knows he's losing one or two.

he's obviously heard about how awesome life is among the gloriously nice people and friendly pubs here in Reading  and who can blame him for wanting to move darn sarf to club where everyone's first team is chelsea and the fans are so not fickle?

Wouldn't let Sharp or Webber go.

I have slagged Sharp off numerous times before but his work rate is really good.

Bit harsh. He hasn't had that much time on the pitch. Scored more than Webber!

As mentioned on here before, his effort and work rate is a lot more influential than his 'goal-scoring'. Did anybody notice Sharp's contribution to the equaliser against Charlton?

Sorry, but maybe I didn't explain my comment right. The "misfiring" was meant more as a comparison to the likes of Doyle et al than his performances. His work rate is exceptional for the amount of performances he has acheived.
