Key difference: that was a vastly new side with many new parts in it, which wasn't quite glued together by then.
This is, sadly, a tired side that has not been correctly maintained and updated.

What Wilder did was capture lighting in a bottle, it wont happen again. Any fan who thinks it will happen again, frankly, needs to snap out it.

We have a poor squad, little time (and apparently funds) to improve before the end of the transfer window.

We realistically now have only one saleable asset that we can make a profit on, and yes I would sell him (Berge)

If we could get rid of Burke, Robinson, Fleck and Norwood today, I would.

The likes of Mcgoldrick and Freeman would be lucky to be on the bench for teams like WBA and Fulham.
