Straight Back Up!

With a new manager and a couple of new midfielders, i see no reason why we cannot come back up much stronger then we were this season.
 
New Manager, New Players and clear the dead wood out.

We should be able to go back up.
 
wont miss tonge tbh. better players about
 
couple of years ago tonge would be the 1st player on team sheet! Its only very recently thats hes actually got abit of form together! Dont think hes been good enough through the season!
 
I think we will come straight back up. Will have to see thought with the ins and outs.

Pretty much sums up my thought on tonge. I wouldn't be devestated if he left but would prefer him to stay; perhaps a new manager can get the best out of him.
 
Rather keep jags than Tonge.

Despite some decent performances this season.
 
up as champions beat charlton last game at home,and party haha or not but i think we wil lbe back

But what is the problem in having them around? They aren't going to be on massive wages and we aren't going to get anything by attempting to sell those kinds of players on?

Surely the more players we have the more competition for places we have and the older heads are around to bring the youngsters on.

Plus any massive injury crisis, which luckily we haven't had this year, and the importance of a squad becomes apparent.
 
There is no point having them around when there hardly going to be played and we can actually get better players in that will actually be fighting for a place in the team.
 
Not just saying this because Im appartantly Tonge's bummer but what would be the point in getting rid of a player who is proven at championship level and has shown when on form he can cut it at prem level? He is one of the few it is vital to keep.

Jags might leave, but that would be about it. Some others may be allowed to go, the team needs to kick up the arse. Warnock cannot do that IMO.

The squad we have should be able to get out of the championship, the style of play and manager however need a change.

Im not looking forward to next season, ive had enough of that fizzy pop league.

Same old teams, burnley, preston, wolves, stoke etc etc. Had enough of them.
 
I dont know part of me has had enough of the currupt world of the premier league. lol

Football can be so cruel, it just wasn't to be for Sheffield Utd, everything that could go wrong went wrong, stupid penalty conceded then the blades hitting the woodwork twice, the writing was on the wall, this was not going to be Sheffield Utd's day.

But it has happened and I agree with the spirit of this post, the way ahead now is to bounce right back and return to the Premiership this time next year.

Football really sucks at times, I wonder why I follow it :o
