I actually had Davies down as MOTM. Soutter is a giant but he is very slow, even Sharp comfortably outpaced him.

I had the pleasure of talking to a few Stoke fans on the train on the way up. They raved about Soutter but apparently Spurs are very keen on him. They also love Davies in goal. I thought he made a good save from Sharp. They reckon he’s England material.

To be fair to the lad the headers were at either post. He was in the middle for both so not really at fault.

The only thing he did wrong today was when he slipped and allowed Mousset to cross from the byline. Apart from that he was completely dominant and kept Sharp very quiet.

I’m glad McBurnie didn’t get on because he’d have tried his hard man act against him and looked even shitter than he normally does.
