Wiz, Cheets - from my post on Saturday: As WhiteHawk says, it was handbags but some of our fans could start an argument in an empty room.
"A group of about half a dozen lads to my left last night were showing a bit of "disharmony" with each other just after half time One bloke in particular took a nasty punch from a bigger guy behind him before the stewards eventually decided to intervene and took them out,
There was also one man in the row behind me who, just as the game was starting, climbed up the steps to Row O where his seat was, on all fours he was so pissed. He stunk like a fuckin brewery and at half time, someone had to help him down the steps and back up to his seat again afterwards.
At a friendly with Rotherham for fucks sake?"
I agree, no proper Blade would resort to a punch up mid game between their own fans. At the end of the day, we all want United to win and surely that should unite us?
I know, but it doesn't. Seen loads of punch ups on the kop in the past when fans disagree about a players contribution to a game.
Saw one young kid punch an older guy at the top of the steps on the kop after one game. The old guy flattened him, much to his humiliation. The kid, buoyed by his mates, decided to have another go from behind as the old guy walked down the steps. The old guy turned round and dragged him down several steps then flattened him again. Another bloke nearby goes..." there's a moral to that story ... don't try twatting somebody who has twatted you before".
