Looks like there’s some competition. Seems a more credible source.

No but clubs can refuse offers, then his options are whittled down to staying in Belgium 2nd division or playing for the Blades.

But in the real world that isn’t what happens because you can’t force players to sign for a club when they really don’t want to.

Maybe we don't want him

Not sure if he's still on our radar, but there's a report I saw that mentioned he want's to terminate his contract at KVA. If there's plans to keep him in house he could come over?

Hasn't turned up to training all summer. Seen as one of their brightest prospects.

LCB - 22 Y/O.

Looks like he saw colleagues triggering an agreement to leave free of charge and he either thought he had this clause but didn't or was supposed to trigger it at a certain point in time and failed to do so.

I'm sure our man PurpleRain can clarify the specifics.

I think if any of the players at sister clubs were available then we'd have run the rule over them and decided on whether to have them or not. I reckon that's a constant process with the links.

I would also think that whilst HRH is actively and publicly floating us on the market for a potential buy out, that we no longer have the same position of strength over players based within the United World.

Coulibaly was always our asset to start with, as he was purchased by Sheffield United and loaned to our sister club within the Umbrella. Had the proposed sale gone through a few months ago when touted, Coulibaly would have been part of the deal as an asset of Sheffield United.

If the aim is still to sell Sheffield United Football Club, then I would see a tactical gulf or separation being employed by the hierarchy. Whilst the interests of the club will very much still be at heart, I can’t see us getting any gimme’s as such….. If we want players, then I guess we will have to pay some sort of asking price in line with value.

Hemmingham says we've been offered players from within UW but don't think they're at the level.

(assume this may have been asked by a forum member)

From Nate Doggs Q&A:

Radic and Sebaoui at Beerschot are two talented players who could make an impact here. We were linked with Radic a few months ago. Are we looking at them? I expected more business to take place between the two clubs.

NH: "No. Paul has been offered players from Beerschot and within the United World group but he has declined that invitation. I spoke with Abdullah Alghamdi, CEO of the group in Italy last month, and he confirmed that and said it's an environment they would like to promote but won't force it.

"Paul did not believe the players he was offered were of the standard he required so it was left at that."
