I would put Lafferty in for a game or two and see how it goes. Stevens' form seems to have dipped recently - noticed he gave the ball away cheaply a couple of times last night allowing Wednesday to break on us.

Stevens form has dipped and I'm suprised Laffs hasnt had a chance as a consequence.

Sadly not sure Lafferty is good enough either but deserves a game or two. Worry is he is even slower and very weak against strong/quick wide men. Stevens has to start improving. If we had some decent competition then he would have been dropped for me and he did great to start the season.

His final ball is abysmal.

He’s a decent crosser in my opinion and still remember him and Baldock destroying Leeds at Bellend Road.

Think he’s got the ability, just been off the boil for a month or so which is understandable given the step up from L2. Needs to get the ball and take it down the sideline when the chance arises.

I'm afraid I completely disagree about Stevens and have done since game 1. He is positionally very poor at the back and is often saved by JOC covering him. As far as his crossing goes, I'd love someone to come up with some stats to prove me wrong but he is, IMO, one of the worse crosses of a ball we've had in years. He gets in great positions but never looks up and his crosses very rarely go to one of our players. I personally think he's a significant weakness in our side because we are becoming less of a threat down the left unless JOC and Fleck or Duffy take charge.
