Why does the guy on bladesworld whos commenting on the match highlights.. keep saying hes on loan from us to Blackpool.. "Kabba, now has a goal against the club that pays his full wages" etc and "Kabba would love to impress his full time employers in Sheffield United"

I thought he was on loan from someone else

He's on loan from Watford apparently. I thought he had signed for Blackpool on a free but it's a loan. The BBC website also said he was on loan from us.

Kabba is a whinging sod. If something didn't go his way, he's far too quick to blame his teammates and the referee for his own failings.

What could have been.

Full respect to Kabba though, I watched the highlights of the Championship on Sunday, and when he scored he refused to celebrate.

Will look forward to that, i think we all thought Kabba would go onto have a really top career and we'd be selling him on etc as is always the case. Whilst we did sell him on it wasn't for much money and his career never hit the same highs. really good player though and so exciting to watch.

The equaliser against Leeds away in the promotion season brings back some memories! He was a player that my early independent games with mates with were associated with when I was 16-18. Definitely up there in my favourites

Absolute baller, I'll never forget going to Bradford when we'd just signed him & Windass and battering them 5-0. After years of dross it finally felt like we were putting something exciting together

Kabba is right though, it was disappointing he and Webber never played alongside each other. Apparently he and Danny were on the same wavelength in training and potentially could have been lethal pairing upfront. I thought similar at the time but Warnock did prefer big target man alongside a Kabba or a Webber.

He was never really the same after that initial long injury. He was ridiculously good before that!

Put in some good performances in the promotion season, but he never hit those early heights.

Just shows you what impact an injury can have on a player. Who knows what might have been for him, had he stayed fit.

Tried shop windowing himself after that game in his interview. Never had another good game.

I remember how desperate we were for a striker and just waiting and waiting on Kabba to come back. Pretty sure he did well initially and the excitement rushed back, but then he faded.

One of the most explosive and exciting strikers in my time at the lane. Such a shame those injuries he suffered he was never the same player after.

Glad he seems to be doing well and is still in touch with a lot of his old team mates. Good interview Hal 👍

Nice one YorkBlade . Kabba was a favourite of mine growing up.

Great interview. These Sheff United Way interviews are a bit different - a refreshing change from the predictable “bantz” on Undr the Cosh for example. Only so many times you can listen to stories about how hard Billy Whitehurst was or how much ale was downed!
