Heard a rumour that Mr McCabe wants to bring in Coppell in some sorta of role at the lane maybe director of football or possibly manager if mr hoof ball wants to continue!!!

thats not to say he wants to manage us but as an out of work manager do you think he'd turn down a chance to manage a promotion chasing Championship side cus 'he doesn't want to leave the south' as born and bred northerner?

Some time ago, I posted the Thoughts of Chairman HH about Mr Coppell. I think I may have said 'no thanks' or something similar.

Steve Coppell is an outstanding manager. He is studious, imaginative and intelligent. His teams reflect those qualities. No sensible Blade could fail to prefer his stylish and successful brand of football to the mind-numbing, sterile hoofball we have to endure week in, week out.
