Not a rumour exactly, but with Leeds selling Gradel for what appears to be a rather large amount, will this reignite the interest in signing our Quinny? Left-Sided player, reckon Quinn might be on his way if they come in with a half-decent offer. But we shall have to wait until 11pm tonight!

With Porter coming this way?

I wouldn't be shocked. But would be very disappointed.

Do you mean Paynter? and if you do, that won't happen, because he is in talks with coventry and brighton currently.

oops, I did mean Paynter. Obviously getting mixed up with Chris P.

Understandable if he fancies going.

Wouldn't be surprised if an upper Champ / lower Prem side came in for him though and we had to let him go.

It's essential that we have someone lined up if he goes though.

Doesn't really state he wants to stay. Come on Quinny stay with us.

even though he doesnt say he wants to say - he might want to stay but in the end hes on a high wages, possibly one of the highest?, and he cannot aford to keep him on at the moment so he got to go.

I would like to hear a loan until the end of the season and if we get promoted then we get him back - if not the team hes on loan with gets first dibs on buying him.

The reason Quinn has played so well this season is because he's found his level. Get rid, another high earner off the books. A fit McDonald will be far better with Willo/NML down the left.

DW has already stated he won't be loaning the likes of Quinn. They want a fee and his wages gone, so they can find a replacement, loaning him out makes no sense to me, either, if we want rid of his wages that much we should sell him.

Willo's shite out wide, and apart from one and bit good (sub) appearences so far he's looked very uncomfortable there.

Willo is better down the left than Quinn is? Eh?

Can't help but think you're getting Quinn and Wilo mixed up there.

Neither of whom are yet setting the pulses racing - certainly not consistently in Willo's case and not at all yet NML's case IMHO

How many yellow cards has Willo got?

Reading Sky it looks like he will be gone by tomorrow if the price is right.

Quinn has shown he can do it for us. You're guessing McDonald can. We're bereft of players who can unlock anything. Though I doubt he's worth half what we pay him, if we're to mount any challenge this year then he's essential, IMHO.

That'd be the Quinn that was one of our better players in the Premier League and looked to have found his level then if you ask me.

I'd rather have him in my side than all three of the others you mention. I rate McDonald, but he's just a link player who helps keep possession and needs a player like Quinny to offer him an outlet. McDonald is the sort of player who could do the McCall role of our two semis season whereas Quinny is a creative, attack minded player who always offers an outlet and looks to drive play forward at every opportunity. Williamson seems to be made of the most brittle material known to man and Nathanial Mendez Laing has no neck and very little footballing ability (what shape is he?!)

ive often berated quinny in the past but it would seem now that he was the biggest victim of hoofys tactics
