Good effort Hibs, but I think it's extremely difficult to put figures on them because they are all at varying stages of contracts and as we know values dimish the closer you are to the end of it.

I think there's a few of them players with a slightly exaggerated valuation there:

Ched - £1.5M we'll be lucky to get anywhere near £1M
Jamie Ward - £1.5M, I like him and he has a flair, but that's all he has, £500K-750K max
Bogdanovic - £1M, try half of that, maybe £50K more-ish, Max!
Williamson - £750K, £250K-500K is more like it. If we can get him fit by the time his Contract expires in 18 months

I think you've severely over-valued many players on that list mate. Players who we signed for free in the summer are not going to have clubs hammering our door down to sign them for money so I don't think we'd get a fee for Ertl, Jordan, Simonsen ...

If we can get a bid of 1.5m for Ched, I'll bike the lad there. And the bike can have a puncture. And it can be on the south coast. Or France.

We'll not get 1.5m for Ward either. 750K tops. Good as he can be, he's always injured. Why pay that for him when you can get Le Fondre cheaper!?

Yup, that's the deal. Non-performing players are worth nowt. And who has performed for us this season? Only Yeates will have made a few scouts' video highlights.

It's not really about raising fees. Plenty of players are available for free or small fees. It's our wagebill that's crippling us. When you have the likes of Evans on £20K per week, and Ryan France on £7k - you can easily see how we culd slash that and get far better at the same time. The trick, and it's a difficult one, is undoing the mess we've created ourselves with silly contracts for crap players. Most likely is allowing contracts to expire and starting again. So the real key is staying up this season and next, however we manage it.

Simmo, Jordan, Britton, Evans, Bogdanovic, Williamson (injury prone) and Ward (injury prone) would all go for 1/2 the value you have suggested. Kozzy and France would command no fee.
Good post though, makes you realise just how piss poor our squad is now. Reminds me of the early Warnock years with so few players worth anything.

First rule of salesmanship.....understanding that if there are no willing buyers, then your possession/asset/stock is worth fuck all!

There are 2 players (3 at a push) in our squad that would attract any sort of fee. If no one wants the player then market value stands for jack shit. No buyer = value of £0.

Speculating about what players are worth is a futile exercise.....sorry to say and I'm not trying to dampen anyone's fun but selling players to raise funds is not an option for us.

Penny still not dropped - we are £5.3 million short on the Cashflow Forecast, the first £5 million in on Fees and Wages saved covers that, only then do we get to recycle Fees and Wages.

If Speedo brings in £1 million thats a couple of months covered.

the only player on this list who is accurately valued in my opinion is Aksalu.

Everyone else is overvalued.
