Couldn't agree more. I lived in Walthamstow Wood Street from the age of 10. It was all Tottenham. Chingford is still mainly Spurs as well. All the pubs were Spurs. The Cock Tavern Coach and Horses Raglan Dog and Duck Higham Hill tavern etc. they still all are as our coach picks up at them. We had 55 lads from the Stow/Chingford when we came up to you. It's just that with all their success the goons did have most of the younger kids. It is changing though. You still won't find them in the pubs when we play. I wish we'd build a new ground near Kings Head Hill where Chingford meets Enfield. All Spurs and a few boozers still.

You all coming to see us at Wembley if we make the POF then?

I was in the Coppermill Tavern for a Spurs pre-season game in Los Angeles a couple of years ago and behind the goal we saw the Coppermill Spurs flag.

Yea I know a couple of those lads it's everywhere that flag. All those pubs at the bottom of the market used to be Spurs. Also the Brook in Shernall Street. Too many to mention but hopefully we'll keep hold of some of the younger ones as well as the 30/40 something's like me

Most of the pubs over on Wood Street have gone. I think the Lord Brooke is being turned into a Bhuddist temple. The one pub in Walthamstow Village that showed football regularly is now a gastro pub as is The Chequers. The Raglan got refurbed a bit back but is still clinging on. My regular is The Vic on Hoe Street which gets a decent mix in.

But now the god squad have sold back the old cinema where will you go for Saturday night drag acts and karaoke when the Vic is forced out in favour of a new wine bar?

I've got to admit Tottenham are my favourite Premiership side and have been for quite a while. A proper Premiership club with some great fans. I've got a 5 year old son who takes an interest in football, and now has got some interest in the Premiership, and although he supports the Blades i had been thinking for a while about getting him a couple of kits from top clubs, so ended up buying him a Spurs shirt when i went down to the first leg.

When Spurs came up here, i noticed in general how decent the Spurs fans were. I didn't have any issue with them, and thought they also provided a great backing for their team.

After the match when i was hotfooting it back to the Rutland after the match i saw a couple of Tottenham fans walking in front of me. I turned round and said excuse me lads, and they turned round looking ready for someone kicking off with them, and put my hand out for them to shake and congratulated them on the win, and wished them well in the final. Its not something i usually do with opposing fans, but i was in a good mood despite losing, and it was a gesture i wanted to make.
