It's funny how the ones that have seen him at youth level, the ones who love football so much they watch all levels, rate him but the ones who've seen him a couple of times and expect him to be the finished article are writing him off already.

Hmmmmm.......

Quite a few negatives there. One or two "Let's be patient and give the lad a chance..." opinions, so he'll definitely need to be on song when he gets selected.

Let's hope for more McGrath than cart-horse!
Quite a few negatives from posters who've only seen him play a couple of times. There are plenty of players who aren't good enough for a top four side that would piss the championship.

Makes for mixed reading that - has a marmite signing allover this, too early to petition for scapegoat?

Smells like EEL. Could be a colossus, could be a catastrophe. We'll see.

But they can chuff of with this claim: "but we seem to have pretty much the best academy in England right now"

Bugger off, we've called that.

Seems a bit more negative overall than the stuff I was reading from Spurs fans on twitter yesterday, which I'd say was about 70% positive.

To para phase a couple of my Spurs supporting colleagues;
Big and strong and fairly quick - good tackle (ooh errr)
Seen as one for the future - otherwise would have let go.
Needs to learn a bit more positional and tactical sense, but they play 3 at the back as do we and that's why he's here.
They see him as a future starter for them.
Say he only came unstuck v Chelsea, I suppose it was like us v Leicester.

My opinion from my chats with Spurs chaps is that he's a v good prospect and one for the not too distant future, was on the bench a bit last year. Needs to play games regularly. They liken this loan to the one they did for Harry Kane.

I'm living in London and working with a lot of big Spurs fans right now. Every single one when I asked about him replied with 'You aren't buying him out right are you!?' When I said its a loan all of them breathed a sigh of relief. I think on that basis I'm happy with the move.

Started off well but then went down hill, good pedigree, wish him luck during his loan spell, Chris knows a good thing

I signed this kid on Football Manager three seasons ago and he was class!

Sooert it art McCabe, get thi finger arrrht!!

He played a few games for them last year in a back 3 too

Hmm interesting comments from them , we def need someone else in there competing amongst the centre halves , more so one who attacks the ball rather than a sweeper . Gestede and Zahore caused us problems in recent games so we need someone who can deal with looking after the traditional target man as most championship sides employ one . Showed at Cardiff value of a traditional CH as Morrison nullified Clark .
As long as he's not a Nyron ' triangle head , Nosworthy he should be a good asset ?
