Not sure why Warnock allowed Spence to go to Forest on loan but Jones has been playing well at RWB for Boro

Jones is actually better than Spence from what I've seen. Hard to believe and I doubt Warnock knew that when he made the choice to loan out Spence. Either way, madness to have left him out there given they're a direct rival. I think the same (though to a lesser extent) regarding Max Lowe and us.

I’ve heard it heavily implied in the media that Spence is a bit of a difficult customer.

Think that's more serendipity than foresight, Jones was a winger and it's just worked out for them, I imagine Warnock saw forest exactly as what they were at the time, relegation fodder

Warnock let him go because he was having issues with his discipline in and out of the dressing room. I believe Boro have a good right-back and Wilder was happy to let him stay at Forest. He will go for a lot of bucks in the close season. And Boro are that much better off.

One bizarre thing about Spence is he's a Boro player and would be perfect at Wilders RWB and he's at a direct rival

Boro also have Isaiah Jones, who is also a really good young RWB. It will be interesting to compare him with Spence on Tuesday.

Thought he looked a good player and / but for both pen and the rnd free kick just outside the box he got his body in front and then put his legs across and fell forward making it look like a foul when it wasn’t

Clever or cheating?

Cheating while ever at Forest/Boro/Anyone but us. Then if we ever sign him, he'll become clever and all will be forgiven.
It's just the way football is....or rather how most of us are!

Referee only has one angle to look at it from , his angle probably looked a foul.
Players are clever these days! Var is not liked by many but in situations like that it is probably the only way to get the decision right . Frustrating but there it is.

I'd say Ndiaye is mid-paced, he's not slow but he'd lose a foot race to Spence comfortably. Bash moves forward with the ball but again I don't think he's a sprinter.

Interesting, he's played regularly for Forest so perhaps the change of club and scenery has sorted him out.
Or maybe he didn't get on with Warnock and Blacky!

I think both move really quickly with the ball without being rapid without it. Spence is quick at both. But also I don't get the obsession people have with him from Friday. After the penalty he contributed nothing

He's a decent player, don't think he was amazing on Friday though.

The penalty decision was correct and was won by Spence. In fact how he won the penalty was how Vardy used to win them for Leicester during their title win a few year back - while level or just in front just leave a leg out. The defender has no time to adjust his run.

spence didnt want to play for us mate. there were rumors that he had a bad attitude at the time he was sent out. i think he simply didnt want to play for a dinosaur like warnock. cant blame him really haha. jones is light years ahead of anything we seen from spence. hes in the thick of it at both ends. spence was terrible at the top end and always to late getting back to be involved in defense. to late or to lazy? who knows. but he was not very popular with the fans though we recognized he was protentional a very good player. he had it in his locker but never shown at with us, to weak and to ineffective.
