I just got the impression reading between the lines that we tabled our offer and left it with them and all the noise in the press last few weeks has been them ramping up interest and we have gambled that no one else will make a better offer and Leicester will reopen negotiations when it gets late in the window
us signing Hamza might have opened up a channel there

I think the current situation is - the 2nd offer they initially accepted then rejected has stayed on the table. He was stripped of the captaincy at the weekend - surely only did that because he’s reiterated he wants to leave. I can see them accepting it late on tomorrow.
