What annoyed me about the crocks we signed was that we had our parachute £ and should not have been fishing in that pond.

Now that we're well and truly skint , it's probably necessary for us to look at players who have a risk of injury , in order to get any kind of quality.
The ones without injury or physical deficiency are probably unaffordable.

This puts us in a bit of a Catch 22.
Just when we can't afford to waste our limited £ , we are forced by the market to take the risk of wasting it.

Where does it say that we are well and truly skint? We don't know what funds are available and what could be generated and used from player sales.

I expect us to be very competive for this season at least.

Unless the owners throw something and or new investors come along we will need to reduce the wage bill by around 20 million to start then the 85% rules

That's not a bad tactic to follow, if you've got a decent sized freezer. Granted we'd need a bloody big 'un for Souttar but...

I think clubs will be creative and some way round it through creative accounting. Except us of course.
