south stand netting

Wow...time to celebrate
Although might be a big job to remove it, wouldn't be surprised if the netting was fused into the seats.
Our capacity is now over 30K.
 
That netting should be hung from top of away stand and fixed to the middle for Millwalls visit so they can't throw stuff at us. (which they will)
 
Is it to accommodate the hoards of Bolton fans that are descending on our little ol'town Saturday?
 
Is there also netting at the BL/ J'S corner too....Is that being removed?
 
Might as well have removed it at five to three on Saturday

Maybe its just they haven't put them up yet? I hope that they are permanently gone though and the only way we can maximise the attendance in future years re segregation is if we just have to separate away fans on the top tier from the Westfield corner.
 
The tickets in that area are for sale on the website. So the netting is gone for the game.

Well yeh, there is that, but it just looks more professional aswell. The graphics they use now to show the score and the team line ups look really smart.

Unless I've missed them, there's been no regular ticket updates like there were against Scunthorpe.
This would suggest tickets are NO where near close to a sell out.

Just been on the online ticket site and so far only the corner stand and John St is unavailablec. Still looks like there's the odd tickets available in the in the un netted South stand corner block.

But there's looks to be plenty of tickets left on the Kop, tickets available in every block so far.

So crowd might be less than the 27,980 we had last week versus Scunthorpe.

Just been looking at that myself. I've only looked at the blocks that are showing as 'Availability Good' and I reckon there's 1,500 to 2,000 there. South Stand there's only the seats that were covered by the netting.

EDIT - No netting on the south stand or lower tier though increases the capacity......

BL lower will probably have an extra 1,000 plus in from last weeks game.
Assume family stand similar to last week, along with Westfield.

A few extra in SS with netting off and so if Kop has 1,000 -1,500 less overall I expect crowd to be v similar and maybe just break 28k.
