That's a decent fee for him; I'd have had him at 2 or 3 mill all day every day

Remember, in a few games he was the best player on the pitch, easily. West Brom, away, he ran the show

He might end up as nothing. But this was the issue with United World as well. Just trying with one player isn't how it works. You need 2 or 3 per season and then you hope maybe 1 in 4 develops enough to get you a big profit and another one becomes a solid long term player for your club.
