I too forced myself to read that tyrade of total bullshit, and whilst it is funny the highlight for me is DUDE :eek:
Seriously that is just poor, nobody should say dude, not even californian surfer types. But Lee "wheres my pie" Strafford REALLY shouldn't be saying dude.

How embarrassing. You can just imagine King kev calling somebody dude?(I think not) Again It just goes to show far ahead of weNdy we are in every way imaginable. The grunters should worry about who they are going to sign next rather than spouting with jealousy that we have overspent £3 million on Ched evans. Probably be the year 2025 before they spend so much on a single player again! OK DUDES!
 
I read part of Chairman Sow's post, started grinning, and then a very funny thing happened.

The speakers on my computer started making a rather strange noise. You may think I'm making this up, or I'm still suffering the effects of all day drinking from yesterday, but it's totally true.
The speakers started to make a faint noise which can only be described as grunting. Not loud, but clearly a grunting sound. As soon as I closed the fowlstalk tab, the grunting ceased. There may well be a perfectly rational explanation, but I like to think that even my computer doesn't like Wednesday.

Seriously though, it's embarassing reading through that thread on Owlstalk.

What is the dude thinking, I honestly thought it was a wind up at first, Chairmen do not conduct themselves in that manner, they are a joke, we've GOT to do the double on them this season, I hope one of our 'overpriced' players scores against them, jealousy is not a good trait is it?
 
It really is absolutely hilarious. I knew things were going to implode when he took over but I didn't expect this much entertainment along on the way.

He's treating them like they are his employees not the paying customers. Blaming the collective effort and enthusiasm of your workforce for your mistakes is a bad idea (and will get a few sighs and "what a wanker" comments after you've left the room) blaming the collective effort and enthusiasm of your paying customers is commercial suicide.

It's like having David Brent in charge of our neighbours. Brilliant! :thumbup:

Whoever controls PR or media at Swillsborough needs to give Strappon a serious talking to.

A) A chairman of a Championship Club using a fans forum to communicate
B) Using language such as he does...DUDE

yes it was maybe good at first in order to connect with fans after the old regime threatened court action but to conduct business & discuss club policy on a fans forum by the Chairman of a Championship football club is pretty bad!!!

I reckon he will soon stop all of this!

Oh, sweet jesus I'm so glad I'm on this side of Sheffield. Reading owlstalk is like watching a car crash. Scary stuff.

Also it's nice to have informed and intelligent opinions/discussions here, all nice and friendly like. Unlike the Beirut style war zone that is owlstalk. Poor piggies.
