I`m sure it was Newcastle away when the cops kept us behind and lined up as straight as an arrow in front of the Blades supporters on the edge of the pitch, when Cooperman jumped onto the pitch and walked down the line of cops looking them up and down as though he was doing a parade inspection, brilliant! He was always the funniest on the away coaches, had everybody in stitches!

Blimey. 10 years plus since he past away.

Didn't know him to talk too, but knew who he was by sight and third hand tales and would often see him at matches over the years home and away (more so 70/80/early 90s). He worked with some of the lads i know/knew from their time working underground at Treeton and Brookhouse at Beighton.

A colourful character all his life and one which ended far to soon.
