Son

Him and Maddison were the two players who noticed the medical emergency on the Kop today and made the referee aware as quickly as they could.

I agree with Son’s behaviour on the pitch though, there’s just no need for it either as he’s a fantastic player.
Having seen a genuine medical emergency, even less of an incentive then to later act like he did.

Scrap VAR, put the resources into watch throughs of the matches with Refs and Ex-Pros... Retrospectively ban anyone cheating and being dishonest in trying to influence decisions/simulation etc... see if it has much impact on the blatant shite we see every week.
Absolutely crazy that the diving and cheating isn't already dealt with retrospectively. Absolutely needs to happen.

Ask Everton fans what they think of Mr “he’s not that sort of player” after a moment of petulance resulted in a leg break for Gomez”. Son, of course, delivered an Oscar-winning show of regret that had half the football world thinking he was the victim, not the poor lad who lost a season of his career.
A great player, and probably a lovely bloke off the pitch but a cheating shithouse.

And Maddison is a young Noel Edmonds-looking cheat, and let’s face it, not even that good.

Aye
So (on review ?!?!?) no foul ….why no sanction for ‘simulation’ (cheating) ?
Just the fact they call it 'simulation' has always really wound me up. Players know refs barely see it as an offence. It's a swift shake of the head to the player or on the odd occasion a yellow and on with the game. Barely any repercussions and often they're awarded with free kicks, pens or red cards.

I've been saying for years get rid of the 'simulation' bollocks. If a player dives and is caught it should be a straight red and an announcement around the stadium "(so and so) number 9 has been sent off for diving" or preferably "diving cheating cunt" but I think the former is more likely.

Covered on ref watch this morning. All agreed the overturned decision was correct. When dermott Gallagher was asked if Son should have been carded he didn't respond just said correct decision was made

The spineless cunt.

Aye
Compounded by pundits (mostly former professional footballers peddling lines such as ‘he felt contact so was entitled to go down’
