This guy is also worth a follow on twitter, he predicts results and chances of promotion based on defensive and offensive performances (its more complicated that that) He's had us favourites for promotion from nearly the very start

And before you ask i have no idea what most of them mean, apart from that we are the best team in the league.

This one makes a welcomed change from previous years

No surprise with Fleck and Coutts

It was all going so well until the last one. Any 'stat' that rates Tony McMahon as a better footballer than John Fleck, is worth about as much as used bog roll.

Shows that Bolton are very one dimensional. Not even in the list for goals from open play.

Incredible stat for us conceding so few from set pieces. 1 goal conceded from a corner all season.

That's number of games played, ya numpty :)

Someone's going to have to explain this one to me then. The tweet itself says "Individual #InStatindex list is also packed with @SUFC_tweets players - 8 of them in Top-15 among the players with at least 30 games played!" - then goes on to say that McMahon has played 22 games... also WTF does that red number actually mean?!

He's a twat :)

People have rated Wheater and Beevers as the best 2 CBs in the league, mainly due to Bolton having less goals conceded and more clean sheets, but I think that tells you more about Parkinson and the way Bolton have set up more than anything.

I did think we've been incredibly good at defending set pieces, that proves it.

We've conceded the same amount as Bolton from them. That's very impressive, because unlike them we're not a team of big bastards who specialise in set pieces.

Ha - just noticed that 22 games
What's he done that's so special?
He was utter bobbar for us

We've also conceded the least shots per game (8.17) than anyone else (weirdly, Oxford have had the most shots in the league)

Had the highest number of corners per game (7.19)

Conceded the least number of corners per game (3.50)

Obviously backs up what we all knew but they all suggest a measure of dominance over other teams that no-one else has had.

Not that shocked about Oxford, they play with a lot of attacking midfielders who'll run with the ball and shoot from distance, Maguire, Hall etc.

Very impressive from Coutts, in a way it's not surprising but the difference between him and anyone else is.

It's interesting how certain players you think are decent rank high on the lists, the likes of James Meredith, Jason McCarthy and Matt Crooks. Wouldn't surprise me if we were interested in at least one of those 3.

One that stands out is Josh Cullen suffering 100 fouls - far more than anyone else. That surely says something about him as a player. Also quite surprising to see that Coutts and Fleck have both given comfortably more than they've taken.

This is all tha needs, we're better than the rest.

1 Sheffield United 42 26 10 6 80 45 +35 88
2 Bolton Wanderers 42 23 10 9 63 35 +28 79
3 Fleetwood Town 42 20 12 10 58 40 +18 72
4 Bradford City 42 18 18 6 57 39 +18 72
5 Scunthorpe United 42 20 10 12 71 51 +20 70

A lot better.
