As it looks likely that Boro's game at Blackpool tomorrow will be played, then who has the advantage for the game at the weekend? Surely our lads will be chomping at the bit to get out there while they have had no rest over the last couple of weeks. Can see us winning this late on when the fatigue set's into Boro's play. 2-1 Blades.

We've had so long off mousse and berge might be fit...

Highly unlikely I know..

It’s not even close or even up for a discussion

The advantage is 100% in our favour. Let’s make most of it

A lot has been made re Man U's performance at Newcastle re their not playing for a couple of weeks that is in part relevant what is obviously the bigger issue is having players out with or just isolating with Covid and not being able to train, fingers crossed we don't have that issue and taken full advantage of the extra time on the training pitch and Hecky and the guys can put more of their coaching across

Guess it depends on how many players we'll have fit that my not have been had we played against Hull, Preston and QPR and how many bookings for suspension also - Norwood I think. So that's hard to answer Hoping Boro have a sending off or two for tomorrow! We'll have been able to totally focus on Boro for longer, Boro obviously focussed on Blackpool. Wilder has said that we have the advantage - mind games perhaps or maybe just his honest opinion!?

Completely agree, watched most of QPR v Bournemouth last night, have to admit the most exciting bit was when it got a bit tasty near the end, 3 or 4 booked in a couple of minutes, bit of hand bags, was hoping for a red card or two, that would have an effect on both clubs

I'll always be grateful to Chris Wilder for how he lifted us from the depths. But I also find it difficult (I won't say impossible... because I don't know the facts of the situation) to forgive the way he left us.... "going via the back door".

On that basis, right now I don't give a shit what he says. I just want us to fucking hammer the team he brings to OUR ground... in exactly the same way I'd want us to hammer every other team.

I'm also sure that Chris Wilder doesn't give a flying fuck for what I (or any of us on here) think or say about him. Makes me a bit sad to think that.... but I'm sure that's how it is in professional football.

Anyway, I don't care. Come the Mighty Blades.... fuck 'em whoever they are!!!!!

I can't imagine how much weight Moosefat will have put on over Christmas - how many minutes has he played in 30 months ? As a proportion of the team's total minutes over that period ? 10 percent ?

US OF COURSE

Appears they are signing Aaron connelly from Brighton according to paper

Part of me thinks we may never see Mousset play for us again, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he left in Jan.
Unused sub away at Cardiff, not in the squad for Fulham no idea why, fitness or ill/isolating, but with Hecky’s history re the 'kids' the new strategy, thinning out the strikers that are not performing due to fitness or lack of form or things just not working out, in January clears a pathway to integrate Hackford, Jebbison into the first team squad (if not immediately in January for Jebbison & it's a wage or wages off the books at the same time)

I think you’re right, and it would be a reasonable decision.

The fact a player of his gifts is now on the brink of release from a second tier club is a bit of a footballing tragedy.

Signing for Bradwell Rovers.
My dad's sister who also happens to be my aunty once went for a walk in Bradwell and spoke to someone in the post office who said a customer once came in and said Mousset smashed 3 steak and chips in in the Samuel Fox in Bradwell and washed it down with a pint of gravy then had a kick about in the car park until the landlord told him to sling his hook as he was damaging the plant pots. Cant guarantee that any of this is even remotely true or worth reading.

It's an easy one to answer, I'll let you know Saturday evening

I reckon Chris will stand with Hecky on the sidelines having a laugh at how things have turned out.

I'm hearing he's off, heard a few other things as well which haven't broke out yet so could have been BS, but he's not in heckys or the clubs good books apparently, and it's not for cars and food or so I'm told..

Middlesboro have the advantage, every game they play they will be fine tuning the Wilderway, and while you are winning playing regularly keeps you sharp.

The only advantage having long gaps between games is you have a chance to get those players with injury niggles sorted out.

You also have to add in or account for the negatives in playing regularly, chance of picking up injuries, Yellow/Red cards

I reckon every sell-able asset in the striker dept is for sale at the right price this JTW. Mousset, McB, Burke, Brewster, Sharp and Didz.

Key word is the right price - no one would match what sharp and didz are worth to us, and brewster we’d ask for £23m+ (not a chance).

So McB/Mousse/Burke are the most likely leavers

I didn’t include the youngers as while jebbo will have suitors, i think our price will exceed what teams want to pay

Really Boro should have an advantage, Wilder and Knill will know every little weakness in our players. It will be a tough game for sure but I think we are a better team. Hecky should remind them that Wilder sees them as League one players or Championship at best if we are at it we can stuff those words down his throat, I hope we hammer them let him creep out of the back door again, Judas twat.
