Ever since the mauling at Arsenal, we have kept 6 clean sheets out of 7 games. Including 4 in a row. Hopefully we can keep it up.

Football is a funny thing, isn't it? But I think football fans are the funniest.
Has Chris Morgan been staying behind for extra training? Has he gone back to the academy to re-learn the basics? Has he joined the local library and hired out a book on how to be a better centre-half and club captain?
No. But some fans and forum-members, very recently, were saying how he's turning into a thug, becoming a liability and "not the great captain some would have you believe" I recall. Chris Morgan is what he is. The Pele of defence.Hardly. He's brave, determined, refuses to roll over, sticks his face in front of things most players would turn their backs on (hence his Calvin Klein model looks), doesn't piss about and commands a good back line.
It's marvelous to have such footballing full-backs as Naughton and Sun and it's refreshing to see the long blonde come striding out of defence with the ball at his feet but in this league it's important to have someone in the middle who will put his laces through the ball to clear the danger.
I'm not saying I'd always pick Morgan over Killa or Uuuuuugo but to suggest binning him off to bring in new blood is ridiculous. He is club captain for a reason, he earned it, and having your club captain in the heart of defence looks as though it's had the right effect in tightening up the back line. He will ALWAYS have his uses until the day he hangs up his boots and goes into Hollywood.
Absolutely, Foxy. I think my main gripe was that people were saying he'd changed, he'd turned into a thug, we should get rid. When a striker is out of form he doesn't score goals. Unfortunately, when a defender is out of form it can cost you goals.Indeed, my only problems with him were his increasing consistancy of hacking the ball all of about 5 yard to an opposition player. Watch back the goals we conceeded before returning to a Killa/Ugo partnership last time around... i'll bet you in the build up to 90% of them we had an instance of that.
Now he's back in and IS clearing the ball properly there is absolutely no problem. The stats show our defensive strengths and the fact Killa can only make the bench speaks volumes for how they are performing at the moment.
