Id say 2.5m is very bad business on our part.

Hes worth that for a season if he fucks off for nowt & helps us gain promotion & get extra income from the championship.

we must insist in 3.5 minmum with add ons. After all an extra mill is nothing for a premiership tema these days & if hes a success they can probably at least double their outlay if he moves on.

Of course he is, everyone is.

BUT we have a recent history of replacing good players with not very good ones (and still calling it "good business"). Regardless of whether we had to sell, chose to sell whatever, the quality of replacement is the ONLY criteria we should be interested in.

It might take several transfers but any club that has Kyle Walker at RB but ends up with Tony McMahon there instead has made some pretty poor decisions along the way.
