Anyone know why the games at Ipswich and Bristol are on it today? These 2 games have both been moved from the Saturday fixture list. I don’t know if I’ve missed a report, is it going to be available any day but Saturday then and not just midweek nights as I understud?

Was it a rearranged fixture? Maybe it should've been midweek but the cup shifted it a bit.

Wouldn't put it past Sky to just put them all on except the ones they legally can't.

Presumably they’re just like any other game which is moved from a Saturday to Sunday for sky, just like what has happened for years, but the football channel is taken up by the pub league derby bollocks.

They were both initially Saturday fixtures. None of the club’s played in the cup on Wednesday so I assume they’ve both been moved to Sunday so that they can be shown on Sky via the red button. If so I’d expect some of ours movedas well, it pisses me off TBH.

I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes down to Saturday football and 3pm kick offs. Between Sky and SYP we lost so many Saturday @ 3 kicks offs last season and it looks to me that they’ve found another way to reschedule?

Suspect the derby was moved by police and maybe a rugby clash for Bristol? Until a few days ago sky had no plans to show either game even though they normally show Ipswich v Norwich.

I follow do broadcast EVERY non Saturday 3pm kick off in the UK so maybe sky can do the same just didn't say so? That said there was the pigs at Brentford that wasn't shown a few Sundays ago so who knows!

The Norwich game was a very last minute decision by Sky as it wasn't due to be broadcast much to the upset of the locals on both sides of the wicket. Tbh I can't blame them for being annoyed either, it's their biggest games of the season and given we have the joys of watching Leeds almost every week I think these games should be on.

Still not a derby though.

Could Sky in the future just bung every Championship club say an extra £1m or £2m a season and have no Saturday 3pm kick offs? Allowing them to show every single Championship match via the red button?

More of a derby than Brighton vs Palace
