It's now 4.p.m in New Zealand, I expect that right now, most U.K. Blades are asleep/or have tried to sleep
I woke this morning at 4 a.m. I have been unable to settle since, or respond to Mrs S's repartee about the true importance of our game. That's the problem.
Normally I am quite content to sleep through our night, and take our result on the chin when I check the scores and read DB's report. Today, I have a churning feeling in my stomach and I feel exited and at the same time worried about this game. No way will I sleep until I know the outcome.

They must be doing something right to rekindle such enthusiasm. Fingers, toes crossed
Sleep on for a while you lucky buggers before these feelings hit you.

I slept very well here and I'm feeling nervous, excited and confident :)

Similar here, Sirius. Have to wake up at 3:30 am to watch the box in L A...doubt I will sleep before hand.

After the way Nigel was treated in the early part of the season by the Rams, so delighted to see him, loved, respected and successfu at the Bladesl...would cap it all off to get to Wembley, even if "only" the semis.

I'm up and ready to make a move for the long drive north.

Whatever happens today gentleman I wish you luck on your play-off push.

Lets hope today's a cracker.
George, may I say it's been a pleasure to read your views. I believe that I have mentioned my respect for Sam Bartram, and for the Addicks. Whatever happens at the Lane, enjoy the game (not too much though mate ). Have a safe journey, all the best for your season

Just woke up.... a few hours work to do and then the drive over. Really looking forward to today, Admit I wanted the Wendies but am pleased I don't have that twisted stomach feeling this morning.

For all of those Blades acoss the UK and the rest of the globe who have contributed to Linz's brilliant thread 'where will you be watching or listening...' and all 25k in the ground today now is the time to believe.

We all have 100% confidence in NC and his management team to prepare the players to give 100%. And now it's up to the rest of us to do our bit. This includes all those Blades who can't be there. So even if you're driving a bus up and down Shoreham Street or playing the piano in your local church or watching the game from the other side of the world on some grainy, flickering screen just retain the belief that we can do this.

If all those Blades who can't be there play their part then a great responsibility rests on the those of us inside BDTBL. We need to remain positive. A negative-free 90 minutes. Let's transmit that belief from the terraces to the players.

Let's make BDTBL a very difficult place for Charlton today. In addition let's show the Addicks respect. Full marks for selling their allocation. Another proper football club whose fans are not 'glory hunters' and drawn to supporting the likes of Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal.

But let's keep that support going for 90 minutes. No let up. There's no where quite like BDTBL on days like this. Let's give it our all, show the world what we are about and with belief we can make it happen.

Woke up 20 mins ago 6:20 and will be on the 7:57 from Leeds. Butterflies like Condors! :D

Loving it - a proper cup tie with proper away fans and a great following.

Stoopid o'clock kick off time course but I guess you can't have everything.

COYRAWWs!!!!!!

Had a good nights sleep and feel totally relaxed this morning, don't confuse that with over confidence but to me it is just another game.

CharltonGeorge safe journey. Hope it's a good game but we win of course. Oh and if we sing "are you Wednesday in disguise" don't be offended too much. It's just to take the puds out of them not you.

Been awake since 5.30am WTF. Don't you just love the feelings before big games ask any wendyite then again perhaps not :)

COYRAWWs !!!!!

Woken up by the 6:20 alarm cat. Finally relented and got up before 7:00, alas too late to hear MediaBlade Foxy on the wireless, apparently clad in his "posh" pants especially for the occasion.

In at 1am bed at 2am and just naturally woke 10 mins ago, can't work out why:confused::D

No, didn't sleep well at all, leaving the house now to walk down for a beer and a breakfast. The day starts now.....
And what a great idea elsewhere to sing "are you Wendy in disguise". I'll get it going in G block!

Kept waking up last night.
Anticipation and excitement
Not worried or nervous as it's a bonus game in my eyes. Nothing to lose.

It will be nice to see the ground as a sea of red and all four sides of the stadium singing collectively, "Stand up if you hate Wednesday" so the viewing public can laugh along with us Blades and Addicks.

Have you ever noticed how it looks as though the club badges for Blades and Charlton were fashioned on the same forge?

Setting off in 15 mins. If Ken Jnr can drag his arse out of bed

Clough just needs to read this out to the players followed by "now just go out there and win this"
