Sky Sports EFL coverage tonight

It started off poorly with Goodman, West Brom should be one up, West Brom should have a penalty etc. But the after match coverage was superb and of rare quality for Sky. I think they are out of order for asking people to pay through the nose for their programming and yet having their cake and eating it by showing commercials. But last night they did a great job, unlike ITV who couldn’t even let you see the teams line up as they came out of the tunnel on Saturday, so much was their desire to get to commercials. It’s a good job for fans watching the Sunday tie that Coronation Street or Emmerdale isn’t on otherwise the penalty shoot out would have likely been bumped to ITV4.
They should have been 1-0 up and had a penalty, though …

I thought they could have given us a close up of Goodman’s face at the final whistle. First thing he said at full time was “I haven’t had chance yet to congratulate Burnley on winning the league” 😂
Yes I watched it back when I got home at half past midnight ! What a 24 carat CnT Goodman is !! We get promoted and he congratulates BURNLEY !

I thought the pre-match stuff with JOC was incredibly respectful. The constant rhetoric regarding the atmosphere and history of the ground was impressive. The media do tend to concentrate on this, especially night games. My eldest went over from Manchester and said it was the best atmosphere he'd know. Historic night. Hate to say it but well done Sky.

And immediately said but tonight is all about Sheffield United
