Reading away in a 3-1 victory in the 3Rd division promotion season under basset. Left my seat and went to join the blades who were soaking up the sun at the old elm Park as it was uncovered. Went with shreds tours as I recall.....and trust me....being able to recall anything after going with that legend is almost beyond belief!!!! What a top man.....true gent and legend. Rip.

Been to Stamford bridge a few times. Never been in section where Blades fans where.

Remember once sitting right at the top of the 3 tier stand sat with Ken Monkau (sp). Thing it was the one where Brads stamped on his headband taking the piss out of Vinny.

Also a.2-2 draw when Deane scored in the last minute, I jumped out my seat in the opposite stand where the Chelsea firm resided, only to realise where I was (and not wanting my face caving in) then in my bestist cockney accent, hurling abuse at the Chelsea players for being so wank :)

Happy days.

Can't wait for the Bradford game on Saturday now although how I'll be able to keep my emotions on check if we go 1 up never mind 3 or 4!!!! ;)

Tynemouth where are you sitting? If I can't sort anything tomorrow I am going to get a ticket in Bradford end.

Done it a few times over the years, in recent times Chessie last season, Derby twice, second time about 2004 when we won 1-0, think Quinny scored, first time at Baseball Ground when we'd just got promoted to the top tier with Bassett. Been on the sty Kop a couple of times for testimonials, their South Stand on BD '79 though we were surrounded by Blades, North Stand in League Cup in '80. In fact thinking about it my first ever away game at Leeds in 1976 my dad got freebies in their West Stand. We also went in the home end against Bradford in the fourth division, we ended up getting herded around the pitch with other Blades fans just as the teams were coming out from the players tunnel. Had a spell in the mid 80s as a teenager when we'd go in the home end for the cheaper concession prices (they'd generally charge adult prices only in the away end), give it we're in the home end by mistake and we'd get put in the away end.

Generally don't like going in the home end for away games, having to keep quiet when we score and can't let off any steam when we concede.

Around the A in Bradford
I don't know that I should be publicizing this!!!
It was the only part of the ground where there was more than 1 seat together. There could be a problem with low cloud!

How did you get a ticket? I have looked don website and I need a customer number.

I've done it at the away fixtures i've attended with aren't many tbf, just usually the local games. I'll be doing it on Saturday.

Been on a few, funniest one was when I got lobbed out for calling waddle sausage boy at swills..

Think it was on the west stand...left of the away end.. wanker steward got cops to turf us all off...

Went with a mate from work to an FA Cup match at Huddersfield late 1980s or early 1990s ( alcohol dementia) didn't know him right well, his hair was grey, really long, and he wore a long grey herringbone coat with collar turned up, looked a right ponce, he then compounded the effect by taking a girly man bag out of the car and tucking it under his arm. I didn't know him well enough to tell him he looked a right pouf. Walked a couple of hundred yards passed several pubs with donkey jacketed pie munching Huddersfield fans supping ale outside whereupon he must have twigged and told me he was going back to the car to put his manbag away.

At the match in the Huddersfield end he jumped up to cheer Agana's SUPER shot from the edge of the box. Thought we were going to be lynched but before I smacked him he whispered to me " that was a mistake". Fucking stress

There's a few of us around there Tynemouth.
Just had a quick look on their ticketing website and there's very few seats left around the ground now, just a few together on the very back 2 rows in that area and only random seats in other parts of the ground!
Should be a cracking atmosphere :D

I'll be doing this tomorrow at Bratfud as I got some free tickets

Been in the home end v Forest when Marlon Beresford knocked the lino out when they scored

Also at Sunderland when we played them in the FA Cup a few years back, I think we lost 1-0 or summat

The Valley ground a few years ago when we lost 1 - 0 and Beattie was sent off late in the game. Going in November this year. They were top and we were second as I recall.
Got a mate who's a Charlton supporter, and we sometimes arrange to swap home games.

march 11th 92 v pigs daughter born in the morning sat in north stand at night wearing blades top must have been crazy back then ,once got arrested at rotherham for jumping up and down to the john mcphail song and saw last 10 minsof the game on rotherhams kop ronnie moore scoring fluke header season we went down , and was also at luton when away fans were banned

Very easy to get 4 tickets in Bradford end. They asked me if I was a bradford city member at which point I thought I might not be getting any tickets. But the helpful chap said no problem and registered me up and got my tickets.
