If we bought the wrong midfielders then that’s something to look at. My point is more that we have numbers and are unlikely to have been adding more.

No issue with Campbell being rested. If Moore is the guy on the bench no issue either. But we have to play to his strengths. How many crosses did we put in the box for a guy who is 6’5”?

We need to show more collective intelligence.
Not sure we got anyone down either wing to put in a cross for him, but I agree with the principle.

Something in this.
Noticeable on Saturday and last night had we had no idea what to do when we got a throw in.
On almost every single occasion our throw ended in their possession.
I’m glad i’m not the only one who noticed the throw ins.

I’ve noticed over the course of the season a pattern where often there is an opportunity to quickly release it to someone in space, often that won’t happen. Instead the ball is handed to a designated throw in taker, wasting time and allowing the opponent to restructure. Once the throw in taker has the ball there are then no options available and the whole pitch is congested. The only option then is usually to launch it long for territory or play it short into a heavily congested area.

Whoever is closest should release the throw quickly while there is space to play out.

The Shackleton signing as been a complete disaster! He had a poor injury record at dirty Leeds... so what do we do sign him up, got injured in a friendly at Harrogate, and basically no fuckers seen him since... waste of a signing!
Last spotted by the scuffers, parked up in his car at Blacktoft Sands RSPB reserve in the dead of night. No wonder he's allus knackered, with all that nocturnal bird watching he appears to get up to.
