...what's gone off in your life?

Our last victory in the second tier of English football, a 3-2 away win at Reading, came on 25th April 2011. I clocked that date and it really hit me how fucking long ago that was and how much has happened since then.

Since then I've come out of university, my dad and mum have both married different partners, I've been in and out of a 4 1/2 year relationship, one of my best pals has had two kids and gotten married, and I've put about 3 stone on (give or take) :D

Be interested to hear what events, good or bad, have occurred for other posters in the same time frame?

I also thought one last shitpost before we get down to business was a nice way to say goodbye to pre-season

UTB!

Very very recently, and out of the blue, I'm reading shit on the Internet dressed up as something to do with United.

:)

Got married and had 2 kids (well 1.8 kids as the first was a month old on this date).

On my 3rd different car too.

I met this bloke who makes shit posts on forums. He does like decent Caribbean food though, so one redeeming feature.

Was it difficult coming out tom? Possibly why you've put 3 stone on,

Jesus. Spent so much time thinking of a witty * reply I never thought there would be a hidden coded message in there.

You homosexuals are a clever people...

* don't bother

Mum had a stroke and now disabled
Dad had a stroke and died
Father-in-Law died
Step son did a runner after nicking 10 grand from me
On the positive side, one day back in 2014, after a brief stop at the motorway services, I was back driving down the motorway when I realized I was drinking a large McDonalds's latte when I'd only paid for a medium.
Onwards and upwards :)

I've had a great deal of experience of life and grown wiser by the day. I've tried hard and long to explain simple concepts in plain language to a reluctant audience, sadly damaged by years of misguided falsehoods.

It's a thankless labour but, like Hercules, I'll get there in the end.

Changed jobs (twice), bought and sold a house (twice), changed cars (20 plus times), moved abroad, weigh about the same, run far more, drink more beer.

Is this a Coronation Street story line?

I bet Mrs.pinchy is a strong person, probably got a furrowed brow and a look of despair but underneath it all when she goes out, on her own she is a bright, cheerful and happy soul.........and hates football.

Big fan of Dave Basset I hear.........

I'm self employed too BB, only I find it's more like being employed without the money!
You made me feel guilty. I was going to have the rest of the afternoon off but I'm doing some work instead.
