You have made a clear miscalculation there, it is ms-2 not ms-1.

100% down to a sturdier looking, better organised, and minimising daft mistakes back line.

Wilson’s free kick aside, we have 2 clean sheets back to back from open play.

A more solid defence will breed confidence in our offensive players.

Always maintained that in order to be successful, you sort your defensive unit out first and then build the “flair” around this solid foundation.

Could all be true but whatever it is I hope it keeps going - we havent had much luck in many games
- Swansea ,Pigs, Stoke ,Leeds, West Brom at home V we were lucky against Birmingham
- Forest, Derby Bristol City ,Ipswich Away we should have got something from these even if a draw as against say Rotherham where we shoud have lost although when 2.1 up with a minute to go its still a pisser
Lets hope that the old saying that luck even itself out does happen as we are going to need some in the next few away matches at Wigan,Swansea,Norwich,Villa, West Brom,Pigs and Leeds !!

Imagine you have nuclear fission i.e. the breaking down of a big atom into two smaller daughter nuclei.

Suppose the difference in mass between the parent nuclei and the two daughter nuclei is 1kg.

Then the energy released would be this number ;)

For comparison this is a bit less than the energy that would be released from the entire global nuclear arsenal.

Don't think we're doing anything differently. We've had a couple of 'Bad days at the office' (yes, I know it's a cliche but its true! ) but that happens to all teams surely? McGoldrick getting proper match fitness now has helped and he's showing the potential CW must have seen in him. And an unchanged squad always helps too(but maybe a little bit of strength in depth wouldn't go amiss)
But is there any team better than United round us at the mo? I don't think so, and on our day we can beat any of the top teams(look at Derby, once we got into our stride, they couldn't live with us) I'm confident that even if we didn't go up automatically, we'll beat any of the teams round us in the Playoffs.

The late, great Brian Clough said the same thing, defence was the most important part, because with a solid, tough defence "the worst that can happen is a 0-0 draw" (might not be the exact quote from his book, but something very close)
