I’m sorry but no one covers themselves with glory and Billy is a waste of a shirt now!

We didn’t even try and lay a glove on them. Lethargic, passionless and tactically naïve. We needed to stretch them down the sides and no one wanted to take a man on… so we just give their CBs heading practice all afternoon. And sander, might aswell be playing with 9.

Bringing Billy on as an extra striker when we’ve created nothing all game was a strange one.

Too many passengers in midfield.

Baldock and Doyle have to play every game that they’re fit in the next 10 games
Hecky seems to have his favorites or he's simply too scared to upset senior pros.

Fleck no longer brings anything that Doyle, McAtee, Coulibaly can't bring. Yet he finds himself in ahead of them all. The latter not making even the bench.

He will absolutely never consider dropping Sander no matter how insipid his displays are.

He will never drop Billy from the bench to accommodate the far more mobile and fleet footed Jebbo.

It's like fighting with one arm behind your back if you are not prepared to do any of that.

I think Berge has to play. No way he deserves a spot just now and that’s not me being anti Berge, I care little for his price tag, just what I see out there. A lack of desire

Fleck puts it in but agreed he is not the player he was, but I’d say that he should be getting replaced by Doyle rather than McAtee. Fleck was spent when he came off and can’t ask for more than that

Norwood was just ineffective. Don’t think it’s his fault but it’s like we’re sending him out there to fail when we set up with that midfield 3

Billy will always give us that goal threat and whilst I agree that Jebbison gives us legs to stretch sides it’s good to have Billy on the bench to replace McBurnie if we need

Having Bash and Clark on the bench doesn’t make sense when we’ve already got 3 centre halves on the pitch

Not entirely sure what else were expecting to do when Luton were extremely solid and organised defensively, the entire midfield was shit, and they were double/triple teaming our one creative option

Billy has been crap all season, playing on previous reputation not any sort of form, just looking for free kicks
Norwood and Fleck look finished at this level
Both full backs very poor today

Prince should be on the blower to Hecky tonight , calling out his piss poor management , since it may ultimately cost him big-time ... But I don't think Hecky is intelligent enough to understand what's going wrong or how he could be doing things better

I would have played Doyle instead of Fleck but McAtee instead of Berge.

I'm not clear on your first paragraph. You start off saying Berge plays then explain why he shouldn't.

Agree on Clark/Basham comment. It's like he didn't want to upset a senior pro. How are we using both of them and not Jebbo? Sorry but that's management. He had to pick two from Baldock/Basham/Clark. He mentioned the other day he'd have to leave good players out. He took the easy option of leaving the young lad out.

Today was the first day we came up against a big strong, motivated and disciplined side.

Definitely not like all the other big strong motivated and disciplined sides like Towtown , Blackpool and QPR

Berge always plays regardless of his suitability or form. Presume it’s contractual.

Agree on Doyle coming in, not sure McAtee quite has enough when it’s more of a battle.

Earlier in the season Hecky wouldn’t play Doyle and McAtee together and yet now he won’t play them at all in favour of Berge 😂

They say a fair heart never won a fair maiden!

Given how well McAtee responded to his Luton nightmare game you would have thought it would be the ultimate redemption story to bang in the winner today. Alas he was robbed of this because Hecky was too much of a coward in his selection.

I don’t think he was suited given the way teams have targeted our midfield recently, how negative we’ve been and with Bogle in it was clearly going to need physicality in midfield

I wouldn't have picked Bogle either. He will have a pre-assist on Hecky's much loved stats from Reading but that shouldn't mask how gash he's been.
