Swansea play a decent pass and move game, I feel wilder might mix it up a bit next week. I think we’ll see Dowell start instead of Duffy and Madine up top instead of Sharp to start with. Think Madine offers something different with his height so if we need to we can go long, will also be an asset at set pieces. Sharp and Duffy to come on around 65.

I think it's too risky to make changes.
Let's see how our strongest team fare and see how the game pans out, we can make changes if the game needs to be changed

Same again please, barring injuries - no need to get cute IMO, we’re actually good enough to say that we should let other teams worry about us more than the other way round. Our style has been equally successful home and away (27 points from 14 games at home, 23 from 13 away).

Agree, changes, especially with two players still to integrate fully, is a risk too far. We're doing well, and as predictable as this comment is, the players who've done well deserve the chance to continue in the team. We have a quality bench, so should Wilder see a need for change he has options where he thinks it's necessary.

No changes, Madine and Dowell on after 60 mins if we’re struggling. Please don’t change a winning team Christoff.

Pretty unanimous and rightly so. Wilder will let Swansea worry about us and that is the right way to manage.
Change during the game if as and when necessary.

19 games in 17 weeks, I'm sure we'll use the squad but no need for panicking and rotating now we're out of the cup, not many midweek matches at all.

Funny how some acted like it was the end of the world last week. We could do with a bit of luck injuries-wise but great place to be in.

Same side. There's a week's rest and then another week until the Norwich games, so enough of a rest period.

Unchanged. If we play our game they’ll not have a sniff.

Let’s not forget that the first game of the season with a weaker team and a piss poor performance they still struggled to beat us and it was more down to our crap defending than their expansive play.

We play like we did against QPR we’ll win.

Unchanged, Dowell and Madine will come on as subs.

Don’t change a winning team ... think this will be a very good game ..I think/hope they’ll find us a completely different outfit to the side they faced in August

This is one of those games.
If Swansea click on the day we could be in severe trouble

I don't want any of this going for a draw malarkey, if we get a draw it's a good result but if we set out to get a draw we won't get one

Can’t recall Wilder ever setting a side up for a draw.

same team - slightly different tactics to playing how we do at home.

More of a 3421 formation with McG just dropping off a bit more.

Swansea play through midfield - if we overload the midfield we can beat Swansea.

Very little if any over lapping centre backs and keep it tight and solid at the back.

I think away at Derby we did.
We conceded after 18 seconds without making a challenge or touching the ball
After conceding we dominated and deservedly equalised a few minutes before half time

Then sat back, job done, waiting for the half time whistle to blow and almost conceded twice to a Derby team that weren't in the game from the 18th second

Second half was spent trying to hold onto what we'd got and we failed to do so.

It also triggered our mini slump

Don’t change a winning team

Everyone seems to be in agreement on this but the top teams in the PL change players regularly, depending on who's the opposition. Just because a team is winning, it doesn't mean that it can't improve. One of two tweaks can make the difference.

Not saying that there should necessarily be changes on Friday night, just that the manta of "don't change a winning team" isn't correct. Sometimes tactical changes need to be made, and sometimes a player can be part of a winning team but still be out of form and need a rest.

I was pissed off we lost to Barnet, don't regret it either for some reason.

Most Premier League teams have two teams of Premier League players
One for dispatching Barnet and MK Dons out of the Cup and another to get points in the Premier League

We saw what happened when we play our second string last week

Swansea are a good side, underperforming at the moment, but if we take liberties they will murder us on their day

Think we are a much stronger side than we were then
Not saying that means we will win as I don't know anything about Swansea, only saw them against us and though we gifted them 3 points they didn't deserve
