Been the theme since getting into to the Championship couple seasons back. Only manager I've heard be honest about it was Steve Bruce after we tonked Villa last season. He said something post game along the lines of "don't know whether we were or whether Sheffield United were just that good"

Boring cliche rubbish - failing to notice how many errors we forced out of them.

I get the sentiment but Spurs clearly aren't at there best this season.

Tre but not just talking about the spurs game .it was even mentioned last week against burnley .without naming other games .we were fantastic again today

Mentioned this in another thread. But unless you follow us and concentrate on us weekly you probably don't realise that it's a trend not an anomaly.

The hobbot .wife and six kids to feed .have got 4 jobs on go just to survive.read most threads and posts .but wife needs entertaining trying for a 7th.little one but got to find job number 5 first time is sparce at the moment but will try my best

.54 minutes gone when spurs had there first shot on target

That’s pretty decent because Liverpool didn’t have their 1st shot on target until the 70th minute.

Who’d have thought it.......gone toe to toe against the 2 Champions League finalists.
Man Utd will be quaking in their boots....they’ll be big underdogs when they come to BL in 2 weeks time.

Yes, yes, the team that got to the Champions League final, and finished 4th last year, we’re on top form today, playing scintillating football, and were unlucky not to smash 5 past us, we rode our luck, but as Spurs and the Manager are ripping up the League and may win it this Season a draw was a great result.

I listened to George on BBC today and he did says the usual also, “if you’d given us a draw today, we’d have taken it.” And so would I.

However, there was more than that today. We didn’t just get a draw we did more than that. We dominated possession, had a few chances, hit the post. We forced Spurs to change tak at half-time, we allowed a sloppy goal, but then came back within minutes to equalise, only to be denied a goal. Despite the frustration, we then, pushed and pushed and got an equalise.

This was more than a point at WHL - it was much more, and the way we came back from the disappointment to score, was absolutely fantastic.

Today was more than just a point at Spurs. And they were poor today and have been all season.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Burnley, Palace, Spurs, Everton, West Ham and Watford so far have played poorly against us. Pretty unusual that this has happened. Sky should be investigating why perhaps

Bless - it was a horrible day with lots of rain and they had a play a nasty team of northern cloggers.........not surprised they struggled

Whenever we out play the opposition.thats all the commentatrs come up with.even today when spurs were completely outplayed.54 minutes gone when spurs had there first shot on target

Long may it continue, it means clubs & fans still turn out expecting an easy win against us.

They've started to edge their bets now by saying that it's the second season when teams like us drop out, it's then that the rush at getting promotion wares off......…. 🙈

My friend's son is a spud. He texted me to say that Baldock and Stevens are far better than what they have In that position. I was at Mainz today, watching them lose to Union Berlin. Speaking to some Mainz staff, Lundstram got a few mentions. Lundstram to Bayern anyone?

I was sat in the home end and heard some classics:
“They’re making us look poor”
They play like Barcelona!”
