I remember match of the month being our 1-2 win at Hillsborough (Tonge, Akinbiyi). That was an unexpected bonus. That couple of year ago it was our win at home against Leeds, the year we were relegated.

Thanks SUFC Handsworth - Really appreciate it Andy. Unfortunately I had little choice in the photos, the words were my only contribution. Having said that I was delighted to be a runner-up in their first Writers' Competition. Hard to write a balanced piece where Sheffield football is concerned, but wanted to highlight how the complete failure of Sheffield dootball sits alongside inertia in the running of the city. In fact the only consistent is the overall level of support for football in the city.
